Vans Vault, Cuerpo Lx 

The Cuerpo lx, Straight from Vans Vault, released this classic designed shoe for the Autumn/Winter collection in 2011. It comes in different stylings but all styles are premium leather which will last you for a while.

 Just picked up these today and pretty relieved, it was a mission to find a pair but the people at http://www.districtfootwear.com still had a pair left. District Footwear, from oakland, definitely  deserves a shout out, they gave me the shoes for 42 bucks free shipping, pretty much a steal in other words. I'll do another post later letting you guys know how they feel, but in the mean time check out vans they're doing really cool limited edition shoes latley that are worth picking up.

I've been off for more than a while and let me just say I'm only human and tough times are in the past. New projects have been in the works, this time off has led through some street lurking. I'm making stickers to document where I've been, so be on the look out for these bad boys!

But now I'm back.

Zanotta is considered a company that has successfully impacted furniture design for several years. I have grown up going to a school that sits right next to one of there offices in Miami and I never really saw the true impact in the design world until I grew older. I would pass by their show room daily and in a way I grew unconscious inspirations throughout their work. This past year I attended a lecture with the now owner of Zanotta as he explained fully their rich past and there now present direction. Truly a work of art to own one of their pieces.

I find the House Holman fitting very well, playing off the side of the cliff, almost continuing a new face. The picture below is interesting, in how there can be seamless moment with the ocean and interior of the house, connecting the outside and inside.

The essence of this house makes me think of the passage of time, something about the aging and rusting material justifies that point. Im in love the almost obvious use of transparency but it is done in such a way that it creates an artistic value throughout the house. Very striking design creating very sharp clean lines. I like the way the black contrasts with the wooden interior. Also the side intakes remind me of the intakes on a Lamborghini Murcielago creating a very wide body.

Pininfarina did this for Ferrari around the 70's. 

Possibly the most far out Ferrari out there.  

Retna was also in town when Art Basel came around he used my friends gallery near downtown for his how, it was a cool. Here is some of his new work, it's awesome so see him using planes as a canvas.

Probably one of the only street legal Porsche 917 ever!  

This car was owned by Count Gregario Rossi di Montelera. He raced it once in Martini & Rossi colors the had it converted with mufflers, raised ride height and rear view mirrors. No one in Europe would register it so he had it shipped to the states where he had it registered and licensed for road use in the State of Alabama.

This shit is insane, its crazy if you saw this on the road.

This is some of the music from the movie Drive, which I feel really sets the movies mood. Really great chill music, it's been playing while in the studio all day.
